Dima Ptitsyn is an artist, photographer and musician. Born and lives in Samara. Started as a documentary photographer, working mostly with subcultures and closed communities, he later moved to contemporary art territories combining his documentary background with speculative methods and performance practices. He works with themes of consumer culture, identity and collective memory.
